Cheltenham Night Entertainment

Cheltenham has the biggest night life scene between Bristol and Birmingham with dozens of bars and plenty of night clubs in the town centre. At least 20,000 people visit Cheltenham every weekend to enjoy the night life here; some travelling from as far away as Hereford, Oxford and Worcester.

Cheltenham has also a thriving Music scene, with a number of bands, singers and musicians covering a wide range of styles.

Cheltenham gives you the opportunity to try something else every night of the week. You can go to listen to live music at many of Cheltenham's bars, pub, dance clubs and rock clubs (2 Pigs and The Night Owl, the oldest independent rock venue in the country). For live jazz visit some of the restaurants - The Daffodil, Spice Lodge or Pie and Mash have regular jazz nights, as well as The Wheatsheaf Inn and Xposed Club, monthly live music club at Pittville Studios.

For live blues visit The Cotswold Inn on Saturdays and if the music of your choice is folk, have a drink in The Plough Inn on Thursdays or Shakespeare Inn on Sundays. Mondays Ceroc Nights in Pittville Pumproom give you the opportunity to learn French Jive and Fridays in The Study you can learn to dance salsa.
