Beechwood Shopping Centre

Owned by Universities Superannuation Scheme Ltd and opened in 1991 the Beechwood Shopping Centre has established itself as one of Gloucestershire's premier shopping destinations. Located on the High Street, the Beechwood Shopping Centre has 127,000 sq. ft of shops on two floors and a car park with over 400 spaces.

The main attraction of Beechwood Shopping Centre is a large Debenham store situated at the rear of the arcade. Other major shops include Next and Disney which have their retail units to the front of the shopping centre.

In Beechwood Shopping Centre visitors can find bronze bust of Brian Jones, the founding member of the Rolling Stones. It was designed by local sculptor Maurice Juggins, and was cast into a bronze by Castle Fine Arts Foundry Ltd. The “Golden Boy” Bronze Bust of Brian Jones was unveiled on 15th November 2005.
