| Hewlett Road |
Once part of an old route to London, Hewlett Road was mentioned in the account of the royal visit to Cheltenham in 1788 when it referred to road toward Hewletts, a large 18th-century house overlooking Oakley. Today it provides along its way many local shops.
At Hewlett Road roundabout, a pub and many local independent shops can be found. At the junction with Harp Hill, traditional family butcher as well as traditional grocer offer local residents their service. Takeaway and supermarket is also available.
